I just wanted to pop in and say that today was a big day for me and after five years of university. I can proudly say that I am the proud holder of a bachelor’s degree. I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Information Technology and minor of Security Systems Engineering. I wanted to pop in and say thank you to my friends and family who have helped me throughout this endeavor. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without you all.
I wanted to also write this post as a form of encouragement for those of you that are currently going to college or will be headed in that direction at some point. I want to encourage you to keep going and pursuing your education. Even if it seems impossible at times it is worth it in the long run. For those who are worried about not being able to financially afford college California as well as most states offer many forms of help to allow you achieve your education goals. I had to apply for financial aid and many other forms of aid during my college experience and if you would like a post on how to apply and where to look, I would be more than happy to make one. 🙂
I would always take the leap and try college out. You don’t have to jump straight into a four-year college. I went to my local community college at first for two years then transferred to California State University Channel Islands. Depicted above is my best friend Jesus. We graduated high school together, community college, and now university!
