The Sephora VIB Sale has sprung up once again. Right when my wallet was thanking me for not spending money. However, I always enjoy grabbing a few new products or stocking up on things I’ll need in the upcoming months. This time however the sale happened the last week of August rather than the beginning of November. So, while I was planning on putting money aside for the sale then I had to budget myself to an extent since I was not prepared.
During this year’s sale I decided to get a few products I have been really wanting to try out. I’ve started running low on my current foundation which is the Too Faced Born This Way in shade Almond. (Which I highly recommend!) So, I decided to try out the Fenty Beauty foundation. I grabbed two shades, since I am not sure which I will be at the moment. For this product it is more of a YouTube made me buy it moment. I’ve seen a lot of positivity around it and wanted to give it a try.
I have also heard really great things about pigment pay off for the Marc Jacobs Palettes, of which I brought two home, as depicted above. Recently, not many palettes have caught my attention. However, these two had really good shades within them to my liking. I did one day after placing my online order decided to go in store and swatch them and they feel very soft and buttery. The pigment payoff from swatching alone was great. Also, the packing on these feels’ lux!
The Becca highlighter in Vanilla Quartz I have heard is really beautiful on the skin and Becca highlighters are supposed to be some of the best on the market.
Then lastly, I got the Naked Concealer which is one of my favorites from previous use.
The Sephora VIB Sale consists of 3 different percentages off during the sale. VIB Rouge members received 20% off their purchase while VIB members received 15% and Beauty Insiders received 10% off. Anyone can become a beauty insider it is free of charge however; the other statuses are obtained through spending certain amounts per calendar year. This year the sale ran through the 24th of August until the 3rd of September. However, if you were at VIB Rouge status during the sale you could begin shopping as soon as the 30th. (This is for how the sale usually runs in the fall. There is a spring sale as well, but I believe the max percentage off during that season is 15%.)
